Well, I did read your article, which I thought was as intelligent and interesting as ever, and in my communitaire way (pardon my European) I went through some complex registering process on the Texas Observer in order to leave a comment about how I also love Ruth Pennebaker (in a platonic sort of way) and appreciated the thoughtful article. But all I get from the Observer is an admonition to be patient.
I guess the rest of the lower 47, never mind the rest of the world, have many notions about Texas, but I am not guessing that most of us would have imagined patience as a local Top Virtue.
I’m just saying…
