Ruth, I saw the article in the NYT and meant to send you a note on how much I enjoyed it. Thank for reminding me! There have been so many reverent and not-so-reverent (MUCH more of the latter!) articles about the poor man’s birthday in recent days. But yours had a nice human touch to it, which I really liked.
Well, as it happens, that is a subject I am interested in… And wrote on too (though more sketchily than you). Congratulations on the article in the NYT.
