More About the Book

Oh, you know me.  One whole day after my publication date, and I’m still talking about my novel.

Anyway, here’s a great review from the incredible Margo Howard at wowowow.com and an essay I wrote for RT Book Reviews about my reasons for writing the novel.

  • Wonderful. Wonderful. Now go take another nap. Curl up under a moss green throw. It’s more soothing.

  • Of COURSE you’re writing about your book being released! It sounds like a great read, and I can’t wait to get it!

Happy New Year, Ruth! Wishing you book tours galore.

Ruth, you may be familiar with this comment from Winston Churchill:

Writing a book is like an adventure. To begin with it is a joy, and then an amusement, and then a mistress, and then a master. Then it becomes a tyrant, and the last phase is just as you are about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster, and fling him about to the public.

Winston Churchill, November 2, 1949, upon receiving the gold award, Sunday Times Book Exhibition Award.

  • Congratulations on your book. I didn’t notice that you are a published author until I’d commented on your next post after this one. What an accomplishment! I must now find out more about the book.

  • Hey Ruth,

Congrats, am liking your new blog pic (quite the authorly pose), and, as you know, I ordered two copies of your book so look forward to sharing with my fiction-reading posse here.
