Ever since the Harrold Independent School District (in Texas, of course) trumpeted its decision to allow its teachers to carry guns into the classroom, I’ve been working on a big migraine. Makes me SOOOO happy I don’t have kids in Texas high schools.
I know. Me, too. I still have nightmares thinking that my 10th-grade biology teacher could have carried a gun. He was already totally nuts (kept talking about World War II and the “Japs”); just imagine what a little firepower would have empowered him to do.
